Technologies TrustLayer Inc. ("TrustLayer", "we") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information, in accordance with Quebec's Law 25 and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
1. Information we collect
We collect the information you voluntarily provide via our contact form: request type, first name, last name, email address, company, job title, country, phone number (optional) and the content of your message. We also collect anonymized and aggregated browsing data (visit statistics without tracking cookies).
2. Purposes of use
Your information is used solely to: (a) respond to your request; (b) communicate with you about our products and services; (c) improve our site and services. We do not make any decision based exclusively on automated processing of this information.
3. Consent basis
The processing of your information is based on your consent, given when you submit the form. You may withdraw this consent at any time by writing to us; such withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.
4. Disclosure to third parties
We never sell or rent your information. We use service providers (processors) that handle certain data on our behalf, including: Zoho (email), Web3Forms (form delivery) and GoatCounter (anonymous statistics). These providers are bound by confidentiality and security obligations.
5. Hosting and transfers outside Quebec
Site data is hosted on secure servers (Hetzner, European Union). Email is hosted in Canada (Zoho Canada). Some providers may process data outside Quebec; we take reasonable measures to ensure adequate protection.
6. Retention period
We keep your information as long as necessary to respond to your request and maintain our relationship, after which we delete or anonymize it in accordance with our legal obligations.
7. Security
Site communications are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Access to information is strictly limited to those who need it. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access your information, have it corrected, request its deletion, withdraw your consent, and file a complaint with Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information (CAI). To exercise these rights, write to us (details below).
9. Cookies and statistics
Our site does not use advertising tracking cookies. Our visit statistics (GoatCounter) are anonymous and cookieless. A privacy notice is shown on your first visit.
